Our Story

Draper was founded in 2025 by Adam Zoromba, inspired by his late brother Fred, who founded Draper Textiles, a trading goods company specialising in textiles, particularly fine Egyptian Cotton. Fred’s everlasting vision was to have brands manufacture their products using fine Egyptian Cotton.

Draper explores the rich history of the Middle East by paying homage to the diversity of cultures, narratives and myths from the region that still influence modern society. Draper thus reimagines the beauty and art of the Middle East through the lens of modernity.

The Draper logo draws inspiration from the Bedouins. The Bedouins’ nomadic way of life saw them explore and live in a plethora of civilisations, empires and societies as they often traded luxury textiles such as Egyptian Cotton.

The logo thus symbolises the necessity of exploration and to tell the stories from the Ancient Lands to Modernity, Forever.
